I obtained this from
Dewey Fisk August, 1997. Ok so I was a
bit disappointed. Never having seen A. reversa, I had no idea what to expect and had
fantasized a variation on A. micholitziana. I expected a white leaf with green
veins, much like a Caladium. That's reverse, isn't it? Nevertheless, the plant
arrived in great shape and is putting out new leaves. Apparently the real meaning of
the name is that the reverse of the leaf has little color as opposed to so many other
Alocasias.
